15 minute request for new students

New students should plan to arrive to class a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their first class. This ensures adequate time to get you signed-in, through orientation, and set-up on your mat.

5 minute request for experienced students

Be on time. Please be seated in the yoga room a few minutes before the start of each class. Each class is organized with a beginning, middle and end, all of which contribute to your experience. If you come in late to class, you not only miss a part of this experience but you will disrupt the yoga experience for someone else as well.

Cell phones

We provide a spot to safely store all your belongings including your cell phone.  There is a great value in unplugging and showing up fully present on your mat.


We ask that you take off your shoes at the entrance to the studio where you will find a bench and shoe storage area.

If you like Hot Yoga...

We have classes for you!  Please check our schedule.  If you tend to sweat, bring a towel to class.

Age Limit

The Shala welcomes any student age 8 and older.  Please note that any student under the age of 18 must have a signed parental/legal guardian consent form, which may be picked up at our front desk or downloaded from our website.  

Check-in policy

Please stop by the front desk and check in with the mistress of the house, even if you have signed-in online.

Class reservations

The best way to reserve your spot in any class is to sign up online. You may reserve your spot in a class anytime before class starts. We reserve spots for walk-in clients in each class, so don’t stress if a class shows as full online. Just show up early, and your chances are good! If you reserve a spot online and do not come to class, you will be charged unless you cancel your reservation online 30 minutes in advance. We cannot take phone cancellations.


Please observe the sacred silence of the meditation classes. This quiet stillness is one of the greatest gifts we give each other and ourselves.  

Our Community

We encourage you to remember what it felt like the first time you walked into the Shala.  Please be mindful of new students (locals and guests!) and be sure to introduce yourself and make them feel welcome.

Exit Strategy

In order to receive all the benefits of your practice, we strongly encourage you to stay for the full experience of class.  If you absolutely cannot stay for Savasana, of course we understand.  Please respect your fellow students by quietly exiting before Savasana begins. We are committed to beginning and ending class on time so we have your back.

Final Sale

Please choose wisely; all sales are final. No refunds. Exchanges must be made or store credit issued within 5 days of the original purchase date. No extensions. No transfers. No sharing unlimited packages. No exceptions.  Please note that the shorter-term packages are more expensive because they offer flexibility. If you are unsure about your schedule, please choose a shorter-term package.

Lost and Found

Items left in the studios are donated to local charities once a month. If you think you may have left something behind, please check the Lost and Found.


Consistent yoga practice is necessary to obtain maximum benefits. Remember to rest when necessary, to work at your individual level and to respect your body’s current physical state.
