What Is Vedic Meditation

Vedic Meditation is an effortless, mantra-based technique rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom that allows the mind to settle inward beyond surface thinking toward pure awareness. Using a personalized bija mantra, a subtle sound vibration, you gently allow the mind to transcend thought and enter a state of restful alertness. In this state, the nervous system resets, stress dissolves, and deep restorative rest naturally unfolds.

Unlike concentration, control, or effort based practices, this technique works effortlessly with the mind’s innate tendency to settle toward greater ease. There is no trying to stop thoughts. Instead, you use the power of a mantra to guide awareness inward, creating clarity, creativity, and coherence from the inside out. All are welcome, whether you are new to meditation or returning to refine your practice.

About the Teacher

Alexis has been a dedicated Vedic Meditation practitioner for over ten years. Her journey began after recovering from a traumatic brain injury, when she turned to meditation as a way to restore clarity and stability. Experiencing firsthand the profound healing and resilience this practice can cultivate, she was inspired to train as a teacher and share this work with others.

DAY 1: Mon March 2, 2026 12-1:30pm MST — Your Personal Mantra Duration: 60 minutes

On the first day you will receive your personal mantra — a specific sound selected individually for you by Alexis. You will learn the correct technique for using it and meditate for the first time. By the end of this session you will be a self-sufficient meditator, able to practice on your own at home. No prior experience or preparation is required.

DAY 2: Tue March 3, 2026 12-1:30pm MST — Checking Duration: 90 minutes

Day two is your first checking session. Alexis will sit with you as you meditate and ensure your technique is effortless and correct. Any questions or experiences from your first day of practice at home are welcomed and addressed. This session fine-tunes your foundation.

DAY 3: Wed March 4, 2026 12-1:30pm MST— Experiences & Mechanics Duration: 90 minutes

On day three we explore the mechanics of the practice — why it works, what is happening in the nervous system during meditation, and how to understand the range of experiences that may arise. This session deepens your knowledge and gives context to what you are already experiencing firsthand.

DAY 4 : Thu March 5, 2026 12-1:30pm MST— Integration & Lifelong Practice Duration: 90 minutes

The final session focuses on integrating Vedic meditation into daily life. Topics include how to maintain a consistent practice, what to do when life gets busy, the relationship between activity and rest, and the long-term benefits of twice-daily practice. You leave with everything you need to meditate for the rest of your life — and lifetime access to Alexis for ongoing support.

All four sessions must be attended consecutively. Upon completion you become a Vedic meditator for life, with the ability to re-sit the course at any time at no additional cost.
